Hike on Empress Sisi's Trails

Guided hike

Walking time: approx. 2.5 hours; variant 2: 3.5 - 4 hours

Starting point: Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the valley station of the Donnerkogelbahn (ascent 10:00 a.m.)

Option 1: Ascent with the Donnerkogelbahn. Guided hike over the Riedlkar to the Zwieselalm hut. The rustic hut invites you to take a break, which the former Austrian Empress Elisabeth, called Sisi, has already done here. Together with her cook (who, in contrast to the sporty young empress, had to be carried up from the village), she spent a nice time out in this wonderful area, where there are certainly some stories to be told. From the hut we take the Gosaukammbahn down to the Vorderen Gosausee, from where a hiking bus takes the group back to the starting point. The group is accompanied by two guides.

Option 2: additional hike around the Gosausee lake. The return transport takes place together with the hiking bus.

Costs: Guests of our house pay instead of € 28 only € 12 per person,children up to 14,9 years € 6. The Sisi room can only be visited in the context of this guided tour!
