Level of difficulty: easy
Walking time: 2 hours
Starting point: Landhotel Salzburger Dolomitenhof
Approx. 150 meters to Haus Heidelberg, from there follow the forest road Rainischweg / "Heufigurenweg" downhill. The forest road is gravelled and has a maximum gradient of 10 percent on the way back. Along the way you can admire various works of art made of hay, which also serve as a great photo motif! Arrived on the Güterweg, the Heimatmuseum Gererhof is located on the right after approx. 500 metres. The road to Annaberg leads to the left. The end of the way is the information office in the valley station of the Kopfbergbahn.
Suitable for prams!
TIP: Every last Sunday in August the traditional HeuArt festival takes place. The world's largest hay figurine parade shows that hay is much more than just dry grass!
